Southern Christian Mission, established eight years ago under the leadership of John Miller, is a place where people in need can go to receive shelter, food, and other commodities.

Southern Christian Mission offers three meals a day as well as beds for men, women and children. Clothing that has been donated to the mission is also available for those who need it. The mission services people from the Magnolia area as well as people from Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and Mexico.
